Going back
Making a trip to the airport always makes me happy.
I had an awesome time today, particularly with Aswat Ikram, or you can call him Joey. We hit it off perfectly, except he's short. A lot shorter.
And I made conversation with a Aussie the age of my mom, who hates Australia, who's still looking for an Asian wife with long hair, who is rich, who travels once every 2months. Any takers?
Then I impressed a Kiwi with my English, which prompted him to extend an invitation to me to view a nude portrait of his girlfriend on his website.
Then I made my usual rounds. Cheers, Kaveri, Kim Choo, LerkThai, Delifrance, Cisco, Bistro and of course my very own Prima Taste, to catch up with Terminal 3 gossip. I miss the load there immensely whenever I'm not there.
I went down today specifically because it's the first time my brother will be holding like a proper job with a paycheck for the first time in his life and it's his first day and I recommended him to the manager at LerkThai, T3. Conveniently, I went down to pick up my gifts long kept.
The fat bitch bought me Raspberry Root Sleeping Mask from The Face Shop (in October), which by the way, smells awesome. But not before announcing to the whole world that she's being sweet and generous to her staff, and how she went through great lengths to get her hands on the product. Inspiring. It's a slimming and lifting mask, which she might initially have bought for herself anyways. Read: She's fat and old. And oh, what a hypocrite. Lucky she's elderly, otherwise I won't show face sia. A complaint finally came in about her today: Apparently, she shouted at a customer, "We're very busy. I only have one pair of hands. If you're in a hurry, go to another restaurant."
Ikram got me a necklace, bracelet and a bangle (in January). Prior to this, he once bought me a ring, which shattered to a gabillion pieces when I dropped it. Gulps. He's the reason why a minah tudung working at Cheers hate my guts, and he's also the reason she isn't working there anymore.
Summarising: He likes me. He tells mummy he likes me. She likes him. She asks mummy for his number. Mummy says "He belongs to my daughter". She takes things to her own hands. He thinks she's psycho. He tells her he likes me. She hangs up the phone. She shows attitude to him at work. He embarrasses her at work, comparing her to me. She quits her job.
I'm so proud of that boy. Once a loserish gangster in his teens, now a proud shareholder of A&A Car Rental & Leasing and still juggling his full-time job with the baggage department. Anyone wanna rent car let me know okay!

OMG REALLY?
IT ACTUALLY IS POSSIBLE TO BE ALLERGIC TO THE SUN. DAMN!
Hahahhaha. I googled sneezing in exposure to sunlight, and found a Wiki link on the Photic Sneeze Reflex. Awesome stuff.
Apparently your optic nerve and that nerve that makes you sneeze are associated. But this only happens in a small percentage of people- it's a congenital malfunction in nerve signals. So anyway, in the presence of bright sunlight (now I feel like I'm talking about the food making process in plants), the sneezy nerve is triggered and well, you sneeze.
Weird, but super cool. Now that's one more thing that'll make you sneeze apart from pepper or feathers.
12:28 AM
My brother has Sunophobia
"Just now the sun shine on my face hor, make me wanna sneeze. Ha ha. So funny."
We were in the car when that happened. I theorized that it might be a coincidence that right at the moment when he had to sneeze, the sun shone on his face.
He was adamant.
"Noooo! Right when the sun shine on my face, I suddenly had the very strong urge to sneeze, then as soon as the sun left my face, the urge was gone."
Up to that boy la, if he wants to continue thinking the sun has that effect on him.
We got to my aunt's place at Bukit Timah and had a not-so wow dinner, considering the fact that my aunt actually dialled a catering company to provide for us. And it was surprising how the only cousin I can really clique with is my youngest cousin, who's really just 4years younger anyway. We have the same taste in music and shows, we even have the same wrist band, except mine's brown and she's wearing black, and the same silver kitty cat ring I got a couple of days ago, except hers is white. Like whoa, that's a little too much for coincidence. Hahahah.
And then I had a nice chat w my cuzzie's friend, whom we both discovered, is my senior. She graduated from SW NYP two years ago, so we took some time discussing lecturers, and then when we realised we live a few blocks away from each other, we found more to talk about.
SHE TOLD ME THERE ARE ALLIGATORS IN THE CANAL NEAR MY HSE! How awesome is that? Hehehehe. But Su just corrected us on the phone, he said it has to be crocodiles bcus alligators only exist in 2 places- the United States of America and China. But still.. SHE SAW FOUR OF EM MAN. Cool shit, I'm gonna check that out :D

Going-Away Party
The little session at Powerful's yesterday was really nice, I could live with everyone there forever. Even Duc, the Vietnamese peewee was so funny. He was telling me about this Thai dude he knows, whose name is Chaiporn (Child porn). And I really like J, for as long as he treats Pri right.
We had an entire house with ample, comfy seating. We had good music, courtesy of Ash. Good chicken wings! And surprisingly good beer, even though I've never been a fan of the bubbly, gold liquid. And best of all, extremely good company. We didn't do anything exciting, but just being together, it felt very much like family.
I'm so blessed to have the girls. No matter what happens, we know we have each other. And that's the best feeling in the world.
They're how I get through all my bad moments, and the reason for most of my good ones.

Dang!
I just missed out on the biggest class gathering outside school. I spent the entire week getting excited over it man, even early this morning. I was talking to Ramzie boy abt dinner, and how there might be not enough food for us all big eaters.
Then I realised how broke I was. Following that realisation, came the mother of all period cramps.
It was so bad, I was close to tears. I tried shitting the pain away 4times, the pain only got worse. I tried pressing the pillow tight to my tummy while I curled up in a foetal position, squeezing it with my hands and trying to sleep. The pain kept me up. Then as a last resort, I reluctantly took pain killers. I've never liked taking pills, hate those things. But I guess they do come in handy sometimes, cus my cramp went away, in like an hour =.=
Through all these, the classmates were such darlings, offering all sorts of solutions. I wish I was there too loves. I'll make up for it sometime eh.
For reasons like this, I'm glad I left TP.

Dreams that make you wish you never knew me
I dreamt I cheated on my boyfriend with a seriously good-looking dude with long bunned-up hair & tons of facial hair, whose nickname is "Mouse", is taller than me, lives in Ang Mo Kio, rides a bike, happens to know Ramzan and I met him when my class visited a barber together at night and he was there with his friend whose mode of transport is a bike modified to have 3wheels and a car boot.
He took me to a jetty to see the lights reflect off the river so it looked purple- it was beautiful, apart from an annoying croaking sound coming from just below the water's surface. Ramzan suddenly appeared there with us and I asked how they got acquainted. Apparently Ramzan commented on a Facebook photo after he did, asking, "Eh your nickname's Mouse? Ppl call me Mouse too." It was their first time meeting.
Then he brought me home with him. Ramzan suddenly appeared there as well. That would make it their second time.
And then when he sent me home, I found myself in a restaurant instead, and it was mine. A huge ass of a restaurant with at least 10 chefs still running around while a couple of em take their breaks. I was so hungry and almost ate whole mice mixed with milk and a splash of blue laundry detergent (I even licked my fingers after a bit of the detergent got on it, and it tasted like a berry yoghurt drink) cus the China chefs were doing just that at my restaurant and they told me that it's really good that way. Then I saw the mice squirm in the bowl, my stomach churned, and I threw them out the window.
I woke up when the ex boyfriend called, wanting to take back his limited edition Adidas jacket after a year.
I know. I have fucked up dreams. Don't ask me how. My head's fucked.

The Boyfriend's 27th
Su was touched beyond words, and almost tears today, and he'd better be, bcus I'm broke to the bone now after his birthday. But damn, it was worth it.
The kid-like excitement he demonstrated earlier on was all I needed. When I first presented the MP-04 Convoy to him (it was wrapped), he was so sure it was an Xbox, cus the bloody thing was huge. Then when he ripped the paper open, he grinned and then nestled his face in the nook of his arm for a few seconds before looking up to say, "Sialah, why did you get me this?" *silly laughter* "I don't know want to cry or laugh now sia. I'm speechless." *dumb zoned-out smile* "I don't know how to react or what to say sia. I'm overwhelmed. Eh don't make me cry leh." *silly laughter again* "No one has ever got me anything this expensive. You shouldn't have sia sayang. I love you." *dumb smile pasted on his face as he went thru the contents of the fucking hugeass of a box* "Thank youuu. I feel so bad sia now, I'm not exactly the greatest boyfriend." *me in my head: tahu tkpe*
Then we played Monopoly at my void deck. Hahahaha.
[We didn't have steak anyways- we had dinner at Pasta Mania then took a walk before visiting the arcade. Then it was home. I spent less than planned, but I'm still in debt from his gift.]
Okay I might just return to Prima and work bcus I'm so damn fucking broke. Thank god I manage to have that steamboat with the girls before this :D

Girlfriends are god blessed
Dual-steamboat with the girls yesterday was awesome, though we pretty much neglected the chicken stock side of the pot. Tom yam was thoroughly enjoyed with endless supply of crab, prawns, sotong balls, fish, beef, surimi and clams. Ooh, and cereal prawns! Mango smoothies were a hit too. AND ONLY FOR 16/PAX. I had the meal of my life. Lucky us girls are all eaters :D
And everyone was there! Including V! It was a pity Natt was, in her words, "sick like a cat". Otherwise she'd be a lot more chatty and she'll be able to savour the yummy tom yam soup.
The cranky boyfriend decided to text me only when I was halfway home, after hanging up on me hours back, to ask why I didn't ask him to send me home. Hello boy, I texted you twice before, you didn't reply. What common sense in me would urge me to ask you for a lift home? Bipolar fuck. Lucky he decided to play nice aft I bomb him with how bullshit he was. I'm almost ready to cut us loose after crying myself to sleep a couple of nights, wondering where I messed up. But it's really just you. You and how sensitive you are. You and your insecurities. And I'm your outlet. That's where I messed up, letting that happen to me. And every single time you show the slightest bit of concern, I roll my eyes at my stupidity and melt back into your arms, because we had such a perfect (almost)3mths, and part of me feels like we can return to that.
And if one boy isn't enough problems, The Ex-Boy Returns.
His claims: Shikin, his supposed ex-wife who decided she didn't wanna be an ex-wife after all and pissed the fuck outta me, and him didn't eventually remarry bcus she was pregnant with someone else's kid. And besides, he lost all feelings for her long before the divorce. Now he can't stand me being attached with another guy longer than I did with him and he wants me back badly cus he loves me.
And of course I'm just paraphrasing.
I actually patiently explained to him it's impossible cus I love Suhairi, and if he knows me as well as he claims he does, he should know that I'm faithful when I love, and he shouldn't be fucking around with bullshit like that now when he didn't even bother resolving our problems when we just broke up.
If I knew what was gonna happen, I would just give him a big Fuck You Bitch.
Shikin called me last night wanting to know who I was and if I was having an affair with her husband. Why can't men be honest for one fucking minute? We're not even together anymore and he has to lie. Unless he decides to come up with a new story: Shikin is like that freaky white chick in Obsessed.

Kite-Flying
We were to have Oral Communication tutorial today, but Hayma cancelled it, so the class didn't hesitate in making plans for the day.
Everyone wracked their brains to think of what movies to watch, we even had a mass conversation on msn. After a bit, we decided we'd have a kite-flying cum picnic session instead WHICH WAS A SUCCESS! :D
On the attendance list (in chronological order, according to who I met first):
Sammisaurus,
Hwei Teng,
Edwin,
I bumped into my friend at Cold Storage! It was a pleasant surprise. The poor boy once got into a bike accident and lost all his teeth, he has beautiful veneers on now, I'm so happy for him! :D
Rafidah,
Mas,
Cine,
Dilly,
Amelia,
& Serene.
We got a tad too much food from Cold Storage, then walked down to the field next to Anchorvale CC/Stadium. I'm assuming everyone didn't eat before meeting, because when we got there, everyone were reluctant to get off the mat even when the kites were taken out. And then when the kites were in the air, they sat and ate with the kite anchored to their toes.
I can definitely see us planning another one of these sessions again, BUT later in the day. It hurt to keep watch of our kites earlier because of the glaring sun, it was crazy. Our kites got tangled a couple of times too, and once, in the process of detangling our kites, Edwin occurred an injury, and I fell to my knees and hands. Hahahaha.
We waited out for the sunset, and it was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! It looked like the sun was setting behind mountains, and Sam was so indignant that it was impossible. In between, we played charades, played with a bug and tried to figure out how to set Raf's camera on self-timer mode. We captured awesome, awesome photos!
Getting back to kite-flying, I think I have talent in that area :D Much unlike Dilly, who almost flew my kite into a tree, before it nose-dived onto the road. At least Serene managed to maneuver it past a lamp post and a traffic light, across the road.

Social Work
Like last month, I went down to York Hill and Bukit Merah to join Lotus Light in distributing food. Really, there were a whole load of volunteers, and I felt it wouldn't make a difference if I weren't there anyway. But it felt good anyways, to see the elderly smiling after receiving the hamper.
When the distribution was over, there was a little debrief, sorta? And then there was discussion on how to further improve service currently rendered to the elderly to prevent certain problems. Say,:
1) An elderly died alone at home, and was only discovered when volunteers went there to deliver food.
2) A lady fell and hit her head in the toilet while trying to put on her pants- she was going to work. She was only discovered 24hrs after death.
3) They don't come to the void deck food distribution because they have mobility problems.
Pretty sad, ain't it? :(
ANYWAYS
I just got another hair cut! It's the shortest my hair has ever been since my hair was just starting to grow from my foetal-bald head. Hahaha. I reckon it's gonna be mixed feelings about my hair tomorrow when everyone sees it cus I haven't told anyone about it yet. Hehehe. How exciting!
(I doubt anyone would visit my blog before tomorrow?)

It's true, boys blow their bucks quickly.
Yesterday was probably the first time the classroom was so empty. And surprise, surprise! I was there. A 2hour class at the earliest slot with a tutor I don't really like.
When it ended, I collected one of Su's presents at AMK Hub.
#1 My Name Is Earl Season 3 (all 18 Episodes)
I'm so gonna take it from him when he's done with it! Hahahaha. I LOVE THAT SHOW- DIALOGUES ARE O-M-G LAUGH-TILL-YOUR-STOMACH-HURTS KINDA FUNNY.
I managed to nap a little before meeting Zainal in town. I needed to pick a pair of nicely puffed up skate shoes under a budget, and who else to ask along than a fellow skater? We both ended up oogling at the last pair of Fallen High Tops @99bux. That's my potential gift #2.
Zainal proved to be quite the spendthrift.
He got THREE pairs of Vans- all black, in one shop alone. Then went on to pick up a (also black) Manhattan Portage bag to carry his shoes. If only I had that spending ability. If only...
We caught up with ongoings pretty well, and the best part: I like going out with people significantly taller than me. Hahahaha.
Then I met that idiot for Zombieland. I had to wait for fucking 2hours. I reckon he was displease I was out w/ Zainal so he happily took his time to come over. If I coulda, I would have smacked him so hard, he'd vomit his balls.
And this is one reason why he doesn't have my blog url. Hahahaha. Damn, I hate that boy I love so much.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUPER SERI!!
A pity I couldn't stay long enough. There was good food and company, and I reckon, a very well-made video. And the birthday girl loved it. What more can you ask from a birthday celebration? :D
It got everyone worried for awhile though, when there was notice that Super and Nuclear got into a slight accident- they drove down the wrong side of the road. Thank god they're fine! So fucking scary.
And then a double scare, when my brown flowy pants got caught in the chain of Su's bike when we were nearing home. The fabric went a full round and tightened around the nut next to the chains. Lucky it didn't drag all of my pants in, and subsequently me! We had to destroy my pants though- we ripped the end off with the help of a key and a couple of handy hands. I don't know, I was thinking I could just cut the pants short? Hahahaha. See how la!
But urggggh, that boy! *beats him up into a pulp in my head*
