THE TAIWAN TRIP. =)

DAY ONE:
TAIPEI
arrived at approximately 1800hrs. & it was dark already.
as dark as when its midnight in singapore.
horrible lar. like imagine the amount of electricity they waste cos they have to turn the lights out for a much longer time. taiwan should set their time a few hours forward.
gaaaah. back to my trip.
judy, the tour guide, picked us up at the airport, then brought us to the shilin night market where we, or rather my family, consisting of my mom, bro & i, ate like pigs.
first, we queued for a huge2 piece of deep fried chicken. chicken chop without the usual coleslaw & staff. jus a giant piece of chix in a paper bag. its heaven. :D until i, very unexpectedly, bit into a piece of bone. hey! its supposed to be boneless okeh.
then my mom bought white bitter gourd juice. it isnt as bitter as green bitter gourd, but still, bitter. then there was dish called da bing bao xiao bing, direct translation, big cookie wrap small cookie. i really thought it was a small cookie in a giant cookie. then can like shake2 the big cookie & you can hear the small cookie jiggling inside. but nooooo. the inside cookie was like this deformed curry puff thing, which also looks like keropok. then you can choose from a few flavours. i chose curry. i thought, again, that there would be curry inside the thingy. but nooooooooo. when you choose the flavour, they scatter, the chosen flavour, powder on the small cookie. so in my case, curry powder. -.- then the outside cookie was like this popiah skin. then jus wrap & serve. i also can sia! cb. then, guan cai ban, translated to english: guan cai= coffin, ban= board. so umm.. coffin board? HAHAHAHAHAHA. the dumb names they give their food. haiyo. this is like a slice of one inch thick bread, hollowed, & then stuffed with gooey chicken/beef/pork. looks gross, but pretty good. then seafood soup. then smelly tofu. then ice cream! =) & their ice creams are as huge as a baseball. as in the scoop of ice cream they serve. rich2 flavours & very cheap.
after dinner, we were ferried back to the hotel where i watched quite a bit of tv before i fell asleep.

DAY TWO.
TAO YUAN
after breakfast, we went to this flower place. a whole sheet of red, pink, purple, blue, white & yellow. beautiful. a little uphill, there was this beautiful field & my bro & i were thinking, "if there were cows, it'd be perfect." well, our wish came true. up ahead was this miniature farm. there were cows. =) AND goats AND horses AND adorable little bunnies too. too much to see, too little time. in nas' case: too many boys, too little time. hahahahah. ridhuan & ridzwan. hmm..
after that we went to jiu fen (nine portions); shopping district! we had beef noodles, giant cuttlefish ball soup, stewed-pork rice (which was surprisingly good, though i dont even like pork), drunken chicken (delicious cold dish), dry noodles, yam/sweet potato/green tea starch balls in red bean soup & SUGAR-COATED STRAWBERRIES! i had three of those! hahaha. so its 15 strawberries. & its not sugar grains okeh! the nice lady melts the sugar, then dips the strawberries in it, before leaving them to cool. the strawberries look like glass after. =) strawberries & sugar are the perfect combination. mmm..
then we went to this plantation where we got to hand-pick strawberries & golden tomatoes. yea, more strawberries. haha. & fresh strawberries, they melt in your mouth! like seriously.
after the plantation, a goat farm. some of the kids jumped out of their pen where the fence has broke & started following us around. their shit look like rabbit food sia. hahahaha. maybe thats the main component of rabbit food. eew. hahahah. when we were leaving the farm, this kid kept following me. & i so wanted to bring it home with me. then i said, "can we buy the goat, please? the goat likes me. see uh.. if i turn left, it'll follow." sekali really follow. then when i stopped, it stopped. when i walked, it walked. then the cursed farmer came & carried the kid back into its pen & it started baa-ing like crazy. can cry sia. haiyo.
we took dinner at some restaurant. tried shark meat for the first time. yea, so we've all tasted shark's fin. but shark's meat. it's really good. the texture.. =) nice uh. ate at least three bowls of rice. taiwan's rice is this short-grained variety. really chewy & it's not filling. or maybe its just me. *shrugs*
afterwards, we went to the night market. ate some more. -.- we had stewed-pork rice (yes, again.), not-so hot&spicy soup & soya bean drink. then went back to the hotel & slept.

DAY THREE.
HUA LIEN
hahahaha. tai dong reminds me of dong kai. hahaha. dong kai is a bad2 work okeh. dont anyhow use uh. hahaha.
alah.. day three boring uh. we went to this stone museum. the promoters are scary. swear. damn forceful sia. they were trying to sell gems: cat-eye stone, star rubies, jade, et cetera. whatever. after that, they brought us to this other place. some ah-mei tribe shop. & i repeat: taiwan promoters are se-care-reeeey! now, these horrible people were trying to sell royal jelly, honey & fungi. -.-
we slept at the master bear resort on day three. but before that, we released sky lanterns. sky lanterns are huge white lanterns. you write your wishes on its huge surface & then fill it up with sufficient hot air, allowing it to fly high2 up till they look like yellowish stars. hahaha. at least till they start crashing back down. well, at least it proves that whatever goes up, must come down. hahahaha. like watching ure dreams die sia. haiyo. then we watched as some ppl released fireworks right infront of us. completely different feel sia. shiok giler uh. :) ate instant noodles & drank beer with my mom before finally going to sleep.

DAY FOUR.
TAI DONG
okeh, day four even more boring.
had breakfast, lunch & dinner with the rest of the group. only made one stop at this mountain. we bought magic cup coasters. they make water disappear. :) hahaha.

DAY FIVE.
KAO HSIUNG
afternoon was boring. went to this mountain, where a huge temple was situated. taiwan got a lot of mountains lar. -.- & we were scheduled to have a 4-5 hour tour there. wow. i just love temples.
evening, we went to this spa. heheh. i can hear natt&priya going that cb! hahahahaha. so.. we covered ourselves in thick moisturising mud. mmm.. =) then we had to sit there & wait while the mud dries. me & my bro started twisting our faces cos they made funny lines in the mud. hahaha. observing us from a distance, we look like retards. fine, we are retards & im proud of it. =] after we washed the mud off, we soaked ourselves in 40C water. it took awhile to get used to & everyone was laughing at me when i got into the water. asses. haha. but after that it was really shiok lar. then i tried teaching my bro to swim in the pool, not that i can swim well myself. i swallowed water thrice & my nose hurt. but all he could do was make his ass bob up & down. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. it looks like a boey out in the open sea. funny lar. hahaha. then went to another night market, at night. duh. bought two tees.

& i my mom also bought this black teddy necklace for me. she still insists it's a cat though. whatever lar.
& of course, food. =)
we had choc&cream puffs, tall ice cream, deep-fried melon-paste balls & umm.. ice blended yakult. hahahahahahah. super big cup of it too.
bought this cartoon dvd too. its in chinese dialect with chinese subtitles & my dialect is improving tremendously. i can now say stupid & fat pig in hokkien. hahahahahaha. i've been practising frequently too, especially on my mom. =)

DAY SIX
TAI ZHONG
went to this other flower place, which is also the song qin lin's house. if im not wrong, he's the former president or smth. then to the fishermen's wharf.
had meatball soup, glass vermicilli-stuffed taupok, deep fried hotdog-in-a-thick-layer-of-batter, two kebabs, beef noodles & beehoon and lychee&mango jelly.
bla3.
yea, it gets boring.

haha.

DAY SEVEN a.k.a LAST DAY
TAIPEI
we went last minute shopping & i bought this top. stripped, long-enough sleeves, hood & pretty. :)
then bought food, as usual.
wanton noodles, beef noodles & noodles w/ sauce. then some kueh-kueh, dim sum, bread, a lot of chocolate & seaweed.
at the airport, we had our last meal at burger king.
cos we were all pretty sick of taiwan's food.
haha. then i slept on the plane, woke up, changed position, slept again, woke up, changed position, slept again, woke up, changed position, slept again, woke up, changed position, slept again. hahahahahaha. you get the idea.

i would also like to add that nas is kuku.
shes afraid of gloves.
she loves taking candid photos of me.
& shes showing signs of a 17er. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. nyeh nyeh.
shes starting to laugh/wave, like priya.
yes sissie, evil nas told me. hahahaha.
then jus now we went to jln kayu for dinner.
she wanted the guy to think we were lesbian, but i kept laughing & laughing and spoilt the plan uh. then the guy ask me, "you cant talk?" hahahahaha. his expression all funny lar.
then while we were walking to seletar camp's bus stop, i touched her head & she totally freaked out & JUMPED. still can laugh at ridzwan. hahahahah.
& sab is fun. :)
we talk abt fruit cereals, chairs, amphibians&reptiles, brains going round&round (whatever that means. haha), justice league, eating hair & we compared coke, sprite & root beer. we also created a new species: AMPMAM.
the ampmam is a cross between an amphibian & a mammal. it does not occur naturally, not unless sab takes a mammal as his wife.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH.

then i returned the hp & slept with a huge smile pasted on my face.
this morning i woke up at 7AM with that same silly grin on my face.

i've been missing online awhile before this.
reason:
my mom took the modem.
& reason for that:
she read all most of my chat logs.
she visited my blog too.
horrible2 experience man, i swear.
so right now,
my mom knows about
the time i went to zouk with yak & zuhui,
the countless times i sneaked out at night,
with zaki & the guys.
& with zaihan & the other guys.
about azim,
& some other not so impt stuff.
my mom, right now, also
hates gennie,
is actually very okay with azim,
finds natt, nas & priya okay,
& is nicer to me. :)
after our 4hours talk at this prata shop on upper thomson road.
she made me wait for days without my hp & access to the internet before that talk.
& it was one horrible wait.
then the day came,
& she brought me out, alone, without my brother,
which was super weird.
i was shaking & totally freaking out.
drove there in silence,
picked the quietest shop,
then the long conversation, on which i will not elaborate on,
but there were lots of tears & awkwardness.
eew.
like BIG BIG eew.
she wouldn't suddenly read my chat logs.
or suddenly visit my blog.
prolly the same bitch who gave her all our blog's url before lar.
there was me, priya, poovan, nas, lihyuan & amy's blogs url.
& there was even a full set of instructions on how to navigate my blog then.
